Moelleux with saffron


  • 80 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 70 g sugar
  • 6 tablespoons room
  • 2 tbsps lemon juice
  • 1 saffron
  • 160 g flour


Preheat the oven to 180°C (position 6).

Melt the butter.

Beat the eggs with the sugar. Add the cream and the lemon juice and the saffron and mix well. Add the flour and mix well. Add the melted butter and mix well.

Divide the mixture on 6 individual silicone baking forms/pans. If you use other baking pan, rub them carefully with butter.

Bake for approximately 15 minutes in the preheated oven.

Take out of the oven, leave to stand for 5 minutes and prepare the moelleux on a board.
